Project Description:
Wolf Minerals were looking to expand their tungsten mining operations at the Drakelands mine in Devon. They commissioned the construction of a new diversion road to be built to adoptable standards to facilitate the growth of the mine and accommodate a new mine waste facility. The road replaced the existing B3417 which is being taken over by Wolf Minerals.
The new road involves culverts, the diversion of mine services, road surface, cuttings, retaining structures, drainage installations, utilities service crossings and embankments.
Full Bills of Quantities in accordance with the CESMM4 standard of measurement were prepared.
